This is what Christine had to say about Inch Worm: ”Because it is a gentle but powerful reminder that there are so many simple, innocent joys happening in life every single day … that life is mostly the little things, too short to only savor the big moments. Too often little things go unappreciated. It’s the little things that will stay with us for a lifetime, that make life so special each and every day. They have the power to make us smile every day. We just have to let it happen.” Work showcased in “Pay It Forward” is classed as very prestigous indeed. Nominations are the absolute favorite works of other members – and they are only allowed to choose one – That’s a fabulous compliment on your work!
Sometimes when you are photographing underwater with your camera and strobe lights you set up an image and take it, and then it turns out completely different to what you had anticipated. This was one of those cases. The shot turned out completely abstract but in a good way. The abstract qualities are what made me upload this image. If you take the time to stare deeply into this image you might find some fantastic depth? I know that I did when I was processing it. I quite like the soft qualities, with sharp highlights poking through and also the peach and red coloured hues through this image. The image (whilst slightly abstract) is actually a macro shot of a “feather duster worm.” The worm uses those feather fronds to filter feed in the water column.
Pencil & pen drawing. Another doodle, fairly new piece, drew it out a couple months ago, added the pen 2nite
A doodle that looked rad. Why not make it a tee shirt?
I think it is worms they are after!?

Couk Land’s flying deity Worm John has taken time out of his busy schedule of sprinkling secret magic dust and generally causing happiness, so he can coil himself into this hypnotic pose. Houndstooth eat your heart out!

A simple change in perspective allows twelve inch tall crab apple plants to become a majestic forest teeming with life.
This is a mirrored panorama of a rocky peninsula with a huge cumulus-nimbus cloud and lots of sea, i have done the planet making process thingy in cs3, it’s my first attempt at the process and i like it. I love the detail in the clouds. / If you want to know how it’s done just ask!

This makes me want to cry as I find it very moving. A tiny baby moorhen flaps its wings to get its Mummy to give it a worm for tea. You can just make out tiny prehistoric-like claws on the end of its little wings. Adorable. Taken with Nikon D50 using 70-400mm lens.

2007, Oil on Canvas, 16” x 20” Coming Out of the Dark was another piece that was destined for the scrap pile. It started out as a traditional still life painting of apples that went horribly wrong somewhere along the way. Not to mention how terribly boring it was. How DID the old masters manage to paint still life after still life without going completely insane? Oh, wait, they didn’t – some even cut off their ears. And then they died. After a while of hating the painting a lot, there slowly emerged the sheep meeting the worm in the apple, giving new life to something that otherwise was quite deadbeat. Always allow for second chances in life – I’ve found that often that is where light and friendship and love is found.
A cluster of Biscuspinor eggs floats in the gaseous atmosphere of this planet. We can also see a few Aethroa worms that seem to be companion organisms to the Biscuspinor. / The Biscuspinor eggs seem to carry these ring-like objects with them. The reason for this is unknown. Another oddity is that although we have been on this planet for two days now we have never seen what a hatched Biscuspinor looks like. We can only speculate at this stage. Further biological research will have to wait. We cannot stay here for much longer as oxygen supplies seem to be rapidly depleting and a peculiar mould is appearing everywhere inside the ship. / The planet is inhospitable. The atmosphere is extremely toxic. / Wait a minute . . . as I write this there is a change to my skin structure . . . / message ends message ends message ends / Created in GroBoto and Photoshop. / Music by Lustmorde.
