A small English village, Hanley Swan in Worcestershire. It boasts a duckpond with a nesting platform. I was camping near there last summer and took a walk to this village. Millions of pounds of damage was caused and now the city has better flood defences

This was a rose at the Worcester (Mass.) Flower and Patio Show. I went there hoping to encourage the arrival of spring. I’m not sure that I was entirely successful, but at least it whet my appetite for the arrival of those glorious days of spring and summer here in New England.
