A small English village, Hanley Swan in Worcestershire. It boasts a duckpond with a nesting platform. I was camping near there last summer and took a walk to this village. The city of Worcester was completely flooded in 2008 many people were relocated to other housing now they are back in their homes. Millions of pounds of damage was caused and now the city has better flood defences

This was a rose at the Worcester (Mass.) Flower and Patio Show. I went there hoping to encourage the arrival of spring. I’m not sure that I was entirely successful, but at least it whet my appetite for the arrival of those glorious days of spring and summer here in New England.
