  • A Ryokan in Hakone. You sleep on futons on tatami matting (straw). it is surprisingly comfortable. The baths at the Ryokan draw water from natural hot springs, there is no better way to relax. It was interesting to share breakfast with some of the Japanese tourists at the Ryokan, some had beer with their traditional Japanese breakfast. R e f l e x i o

  • . After some very helpful advice in the critique forum, I decided to process another self-portrait from the set I took yesterday. Although pleased with my other self-portrait, it was advised I include more of the hair and also the ear. I feel this has worked very well, although these things are of course subjective. Anyway, I’m much happier with this one. If anyone would like to offer critique on this, or my other February portrait, I have started a forum thread here All views welcome!
