went to the Brecon Beacons in South Wales at the weekend and photographed these beautifull, mystical trees coverd in moss and lichen. They inspired me to do a bit of artwork :-) Doorway comes from St. Konan’s Kirk, Loch Awe,Scotland

Here is the image following ‘Red Ribbon’. My little girl worked out how to open the heavy back gate and thought she could escape into the big park at the back of our new house. I decided to add this image to satisfy the curiosity of everyone who wanted to know what she saw through the hole in the gate!

I took this photo in Pontypool park. A great place to go for a stroll, its peaceful and pretty and this particular morning there were sunbeams where ever we looked. It was breathtaking. / / /

A male Common Blue butterfly in a wonderful paradise near my home. A local farmer has turned 15 acres of his land into a meadow and woodland planted with native foliage. This is a watercolour painting painted with windsor and newton watercolour paints on Bockingford watercolour paper using only 2 colours- Yellow Ochre and Sepia in glazes to get the tonal effect of a Sepia picture. / Harleston Path is on the Norfolk and Suffolk border in the UK.
