“So with a little touch from you / and a little hug from me / we showed the world love is strong / when two become one. So with a little smile from you / and a little kiss from me / we can go anywhere at anytime / and be what we wanna be All fear is gone / When two become one.” / - – - / Shot during one beautiful evening with a friend down Lake Monger, Western Australia. Dedicated to the farmers facing the drought in Western Australia. NOTE: This is one of the few publications which I have not placed a border around it, just so card-buyers can get the choice of having a white or black background. Personally I’d go with the white =) MORE WORKS FROM MY PORTFOLIO /
As we patiently awaited for the highly anticipated Australia Day 2007 fireworks, we were greeted by a rather unpleasant overcast and patchy sky, many thanks to the soaring 40C heat. Great sweat workout though. MORE WORKS FROM MY PORTFOLIO /

The Tian Tan Buddha appears serene and dignified. His right hand is raised, representing the removal of affliction. His left hand rests on his lap in a gesture of giving (dhana). The Buddha faces north which is unique among the great Buddha statues. (All others face South.) I’m not a very religious person, but I need to know where my religious background stands in my family. This place was definitely the eye opener. How do they even carry all the 250 tonne bronze to make a 34 metre high statue up there?! A remarkable achievement. Home Sweet Home. The Blue Boathouse, Mounts Bay Road, Perth. Western Australia. I’ve finally dragged my lazy feet to the Blue Boathouse down at Mounts Bay Road, Perth. Despite being a 20 minute drive by the freeway, I never seem to allocate the right time to visit this magnificient icon. It’s possibly one of the most photographed building in Western Australia, and I cannot object it anyway if it was. edits: Realigned, adjusted contrast/brightness. John and I decided to be one of the first people to photograph the brand new sexy toy the Perth Wheel as of operation 9th Jan 2009. Sort of copied, ok copied from the hugely successful London Eye, the Perth Wheel it stands 50m high, can carry 284 passengers in 36 capsules. For $15 adults $10 children, you get to spend roughly 15 minutes on the wheel, which will do approximately three revolutions. There is even a VIP capsule which boasts leather seats, best to get clients stuck with you high in the sky to approve your business proposal in comfy leather seats and a plasma screen display. Operators are also expecting it to become popular for marriage proposals and birthday celebrations…oh and those girlfriend boyfriend stuff. Who said Perth cannot look like London huh? ;) MORE WORKS FROM MY PORTFOLIO / - – / Shot settings: / Body: Canon EOS 350D / Lens: Sigma 10-20mm DC HSM EX / Shutter Speed: 35” / Focal Length: 13mm / Flash: Did not fire / ISO: 100 / Aperture value: f/8 / Add-ons: 77mm - Hoya Pro-1 CPL + ND8 filter

Acrylic On Canvas Was inspired to do this piece after watching the movie, “In The Mood For Love”. Set in the Hongkong 60s, it’s a tale of forbidden love, full of regrets and secrets. This painting is my personal interpretation of the following lines from the movie. “In the old days, if someone had a secret they don’t want to share what do they do? They went up a mountain, find a tree, carved a hole in it and whispered the secret into the hole. Then they covered it with mud. And leave the secret there forever.” You can view and buy my other “Can You Keep A Secret” creations from my Zazzle Gallery:
Blue in a Sea of Red The blue boathouse immersed in a beautiful ruby-red sunset over Perth, Western Australia. I wished I timed this piece for Valentines day but oh well, better late than never. I was busy celebrating Single Awareness Day (SAD) on V-day anyway. ;) Enjoy <3> Taken sometime in Autumn April 2008. MORE WORKS FROM MY PORTFOLIO /
