This photo is from a series Ella in Wonderland , a fantasy world and stories I make for Ella Devi. We read them together at bedtime…
An illustration for the well-known story of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, where she meets Mister Caterpillar. Who persists in asking her: “Who are you?” Done with oil pastel on cardboard, details added in with a normal pencil.
Please see here for more details Excuse the size, its really rather epic!
Self Portrait. I’ve become a bit of a solitaire addict as of late, so I guess you could call this my Guilty Pleasure!! / Experimenting with my new wireless remote, which is a bitch to use by the way. This is my White Rabbit photo for my Alice in Wonderland Series, it’s not quite the same style, so I haven’t made a big thing out of it, just tacked it on the end. But yes. It’s the white rabbit. Canon 450D. No geeky stuff, I can’t be bothered, it’s not like you miss it. ...I must admit though, I didn’t take the picture of the cards (shock horror!!) because I couldn’t find any. Instead, you can find it here somewhere in the middle of the page.. I’m sorry guys!! Cross-processed and the like on Photoshop CS3. A photograph of a Dandelion soaked with droplets and sunshine…....possibly my newest addiction LOL. NO worries, I’ll spread them out over time :) Thanks for looking ! :) P.S. I have a lot of catching up to do around here.
What Alice should have done
In terms of breathtaking, there’s Canada – and there’s Winter in Canada. / No words can adequately describe the exhilaration of being in this winter wonderland when Canada’s famously cold winter climate transforms and embraces mother nature. If you’re longing for the ultimate winter, don your mittens and scarves, go outside and marvel at the magical beauty of Canada’s magnificent scenery. / Winter Canadian-style is Winter At Its Best! A Postcard from beautiful Canada / Laminated Print /
The challenge in Stream Crossings on “Streams in winter” inspires me to dig out a shot from the best hoarfrost day that I ever experienced in my photographic life (I remember some from my youth, but that was long ago and very long before the age of digital photography). / This shot was taken in the most beautiful park of the country-house of Groeneveld near Baarn which you know already from quite a few shots. Groeneveld, 22nd December 2007, 10.00 am / Nikon D80, Nikkor 18-200 mm at 200 mm / F 10, 1/60, ISO 200 Here two more shots from that great morning in Groeneveld park: And here a later shot of this bridge from November 2008:
Words are passing by, like trees on a road / You’re talking bubbles in the air / Floating around you, away and displode / Eyes opened wide, I stare / - Ellen Allien
