From a series of photographs I did for a friend 5 weeks before the birth of her daughter! This photograph was taken using super fast film (3200) and low light conditions. I was going through a grainy stage!! :D / /
The wonder and the colour of the rainbow, dripping into the daisy!
The remaining ruins at Chichen Itza in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, are a tribute to the complexity and advancement of the Maya empire. The grounds hold multiple ruins that are now considered the 7th wonder of the world. Truly worth the trip to this area, these ruins are an experience of a life time.

I thought it might be interesting to go back to Garie Lookout and do a startrails version of Wonder Lies Sleeping ‘Neath a Mantle of Light. If you missed the original it’s here: The line running through the bottom left is a plane – couldn’t get rid of it without making a big hole in my startrails. This image is a composite of 51 X 30 second exposures using the brilliant schursastrophotography photoshop action here: http://www.schursastrophotography.com/software/photoshop/startrails.html Also I’ve written a little story to go with it if you haven’t already read it: http://www.redbubble.com/people/geoffcoleman/writing/769745-wonder-lies-sleeping-neath-a-blanket-of-light

I always knew that the RedBubble team had a big job on their hands. But recently, various piles around the office have been tipping me off as to just how big a job it is… / This is the board where I pin up all the cool ideas people add to the Feedback and Suggestions Forum and then refer to for ongoing nagging to get what we all want :) / ...and the ones that didn’t fit on the board! / Then Pete tells me that 2585 sales notifications went out in March and Group Activity is growing and growing / Just cleaning up Ed’s desk could be a 5 person job / We’re always trying out new products which results in the Bub Hub being taken over with samples ready to be played with and debated over. / And Peter has a more emails than I can count to deal with – 4294965818 to be precise. That explains why he never gets back to me. Sometimes finding the time to get through all the great ideas can be overwhelming, but it’s worth it. And it’s so satisfying to see artists and writers sharing their creativity. The staff may not be able to make magic happen overnight, but it’s inspiring to work with a bunch of people who are so focussed on helping artists connect with one another and sell their work. Jo

This piece is based on how much we base our decisions off of love. Not condemning it, but rather it intrigues me what those will do in the name of love. Many people have died for love, have fought for love, and have sacrificed for love. It’s a powerful feeling that enslaves us, causing us to react in ways we may not deem normal in a clear state of mind, but like they say, Love is intoxicating. 2nd traditional piece I’ve ever attempted with acrylics. It was (key word, was, because it was sold lol)a 18×24 inch stretched canvas with acrylics and india ink. I miss this piece dearly, but at least I have a wonderful jpeg of it’s remains.
I’ve been thinking about doing arabized super hero style t-shirts since before doing the ’’Seen’’ Shield T . This is my version of the Wonder Woman current logo. The translation is the one they used in the old translated-to-arabic comics (which I don’t think come out anymore); its not a literal translation as its closer to Super Woman than Wonder Woman. A variation of this shirt can be found here.

Background Information: / Peyto Lake is a glacier-fed lake located in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. The lake itself is easily accessed from the Icefields Parkway. It was named for Ebenezer William Peyto, an early trail guide and trapper in the Banff area. The lake is formed in a valley of the Waputik Range, between Caldron Peak, Peyto Peak and Mount Jimmy Simpson, at an elevation of 1,860 m (6,100 ft). During the summer, significant amounts of glacial rock flour flow into the lake, and these suspended rock particles give the lake a bright, turquoise color. Because of its bright color, photos of the lake often appear in illustrated books, and area around the lake is a popular sightseeing spot for tourists in the park. The lake is best seen from Bow Summit, the highest point on the Icefield Parkway. The lake is fed by the Peyto Creek, which drains water from the Caldron Lake and Peyto Glacier (part of the Wapta Icefield), and flows into the Mistaya River. Little wonder on my butterfly bush !
It is a wonder world in the garden, in nature all together! Especially when it rained. The earth smells different, the flowers look brighter, the little diamonds the rain leaves in these droplets are such wonderful magnifying information centers. / These are droplets clinging to the stamen of the flower. I have red, pink and yellow Inca lilies. This stamen is from the pink variety. The yellow flowers’ stamen differs a bit from the other colours / Awesome, just awesome. Happy Mothers Day! I was woken early this morning by my son tapping at the front door, his new kitten in one hand….....and a grocery bag full of goodies for breakfast in the other…... / He cooked bacon and eggs, made coffee, gave me my presents then let me take photos of his kitten. The only way to get ‘Cookie’ to calm down was to place him on my son’s back…. / The result was….. they both fell sound asleep (my son works nights) on the floor. / It was the best morning, I love him with all of my heart :) / What a Wonderful World Louis Armstrong What A Wonderful World I see trees of green, red roses too / I see ‘em bloom for me and you / And I think to myself, what a wonderful world I see skies of blue, clouds of white / The bright blessed days, and dark sacred nights / And I think to myself, what a wonderful world The colors of the rainbow / Are so pretty in the sky / It’s also on the faces / Of people goin’ by / I see friends shakin’ hands / Sayin’, “How do you do?” / They’re really sayin’, “I love you.” I hear babies cry, and I watch ‘em grow / They’ll learn much more than I’ll ever know / And I think to myself, what a wonderful world / I think to myself, what a wonderful world

Though many years have passed, since I held you last- / you’re still in my heart and on my mind. / and when I think of you, as I often do- / then I wonder do you ever think of me. Yes, I wonder do you ever think of me- / or am I just forgotten history. I go to sleep at night, and dream about you- / and of our faded love of long ago. / and when I wake up dear, and know that you’re not here- / then I wonder do you ever dream of me. Yes, I wonder do you ever dream of me- / or am I not even a subconscious memory. The years have come and gone, memories linger on- / that time can not erase or time replace. / and when I think of you, as I often do- / then I wonder do you ever think of me. Yes, I wonder do you ever think of me- / or am I just a faded memory. Inspired by conversations with a dear friend…
