  • A few snowgums in the afternoon light at Guthega in the Snowy Mountains Australia. Other images in the series: Snowgums 2 / More winter images

  • Olinda, near the Hamer Arboretum, Dandenong Ranges.

  • The original artwork is done in acrylic on stretched canvas. This was painted on a cold windy winter night a few years ago, and I wanted to paint something that will warm me up. What better way than a nice cosy blanket with swirls and colours! Enjoy!

  • LITHUANIA 2oo9 11 27 / THE LAST WORKS (CLIKC FOR VIEW)

  • Eilean Donan Castle, winter 2007

  • Isle of Skye, February 2007 :)

  • Horse enjoying running on a foggy winter morning at Tilly Foster Farm in Carmel, NY.

  • One must suffer for your art correct? Well this might fit, I headed out this cold December dawn a year ago with temps at -5 and windchill at -30. A bit chilly and I learned that if you take a glove and grab a metal tripod leg your hand will stick at least for a few moments. I hope the image was worth it! The frozen surface of Mud Lake just after dawn one cold winter morning. The long shadows of the tree stumps making eerie lines across the ice and skiff of snow on top.

  • Lithuania, Vilnius region, the lake “ŽALIEJI EŽERAI” (Green lakes) the top 10 in the Homes Challenge in A Place To Call Home: THE LAST WORKS (CLIKC FOR VIEW) /

  • Canon 350 D 17-40 mm lens. Winter landscape with sunset in fog.

  • Spotted some horses in a field on the way to work yesterday, the sun was just coming through the mist, had to go turn round and go back to have a look and came away with a couple of nice shots. There was a thick frost on the ground, real crisp winter morning Thanks to Richard Shepherd for the title.

  • Loch of the Lowes lies in the beautiful scottish borders between Moffat and Selkirk. It flows into nearby St Mary’s loch (with its thriving sailing club) past old Tibbieshiels inn, hostelry and overnight stop for walkers on the southern upland way crossing Scotland. Overlooking the north end of the loch is a monument to James Hogg – the Scottish Poet known as the Ettrick Shepherd, friend and contemporary of Sir Walter Scott. Taken 4/3/08 (untouched) with a pocket fuji finepix A500 (There is a 2nd loch of the lowes further north in Perthshire, complete with osprey viewing centre – but you can see the wonderful fish eagle hunting here too if you are lucky!) My first ever feature on the home page ages on 23rd April 2008 and what a party that was…LOL See also : ‘i am a rock’ and ‘LoL’ loch of the lowes

  • I was having fun experimenting one night on our street as I loved how the lights reflected off the snow on our street, these log homes with big windows really allowed this scene to come out. Tried and tried over and over to give it that festive feeling around X-mas, anyhow, here`s the result. / Canon XT, sigma 17-35mm 2.8 over 15 sec

  • / Sold as cards, matted prints, framed prints Canon Rebelxt Sigma 17-70mm Southern Ontario Canada

  • Seasons Greetings! / Wishing everyone a very merry time whatever you’re celebrating / :))) Late afternoon light on this frosty winter scene near Manor Brig over the River Tweed outside Peebles in the lovely Scottish Borders. Taken in a gorgeous winter wonderland, following 24 hours of freezing fog on my first ‘proper outing’ with a real dlsr.. but one of those ‘I must be mad’ moments.. crouched behind a crash barrier on a bend in the Glasgow road, sunday drivers whizzing past… (rb home page 19/11/09) / Nikon D60, VR Nikkor 18-200, UV filter / f/9,1/40 sec, ISO-100, 70mm !

Each person is allowed to nominate their absolute favorite work created by someone else on Redbubble – and they are only allowed to choose one, so it’s a huge honour to be selected. Thanks a million Alice!... ”I would like to nominate Dyin’ Alone by Donald Cameron because, as you can see in his description, he went ahead with his promise that he’d dedicate the image to me if he won a challenge I suggested he enter. Also, I think it’s a fantastic image in itself, and deserved said win.”
