Once upon a time, a young man visited the tallest tower he’d ever seen and stood and looked upon the world below. It was amazing that the views from the flying machines he’d taken there and the views from this mighty tower were basically one and the same. He didn’t return to that high tower for many years, but when he did, he saw the sunset on those same views. There were many ways this could be read, of endings of old ways, of life’s many phases, but he chose to believe that the tower felt obligated to surpass the younger man’s memories. —-——- / The City lights of Chicago at dusk as viewed from the Sears Tower observation deck..

This windy city photo was taken from famous Navy Pier and affords a dreamy view of the city and the reflecting lights in the waters of Lake Michigan.
Reminds me of the old Bob Seger song “Runnin’ Against the Wind”.....oh yeah, guess that dates me….
Another dramatic sunset image
I love robins, they are one of my favourties. I found this little fellow whilst out for a walk near where I live in Somerset, England.
The sunset was not happening with all the cloud around, so I started to snap the birds flying by, I like this one the best
