  • Taken in Yarck, country Victoria.

  • A middle aged gent takes a brisk walk along the seafront on Dollymount Beach, Bull Island Dublin City. A beautiful part of Dublins Northside and amazingly a place to learn how to drive a car! Very windy and great for windsurfers of all types, both land and sea. Only available as a card at the moment til I get my hands on a neg scanner.

  • Stormy North Sea at Roker Pier, Sunderland, North East England.

  • I took this hdr shot to allow for a good even glow over the shot and still get the reflection of the street down below. / It also always reminds me of a drama, as after I went to bed after taking it, about 2 hours later my wife woke up in agony on the 38th floor in a Chicago apartment with a prolapsed disc and we had to ring 911! / Anyway, the 2 hours sleep was quite worth the effect..maybe! Taken with 2 exposures – 1st with F3.5 aperture/5 secs shutter/500 iso / 2nd with same aperture & iso with a 1 second shutter. Thanks in advance for any views or comments. / Cheers, / Matt Also from this series:

  • Oil on Canvas / It only rains two or three months out of the year, though flowers bloom year round the first real punch of color is when the intense sun hits saturated land and everything that’s waited pops out of the soil. The air’s still turbulent, dust storms in the prairies and meadows sweep into the mountains, and head for the ocean.

  • 2009. Age 22. This little fella (hanging on that tree, having just snapped the branch) is called a Plar. He is a curious little creature, with big alluring eyes and a kind, gentle heart. He sees the world for what it truly is; a magical playground just itching to be explored. - Drawn with Blue biro pen only on Smooth bristal board. Plar Poem: Plar – Beautifully Blue

  • On my way home yesterday from the GoKart races I saw this cloud fomation, jumped out of my car and took what you can see,I then headed for Dog Rocks (in the distance under the heavy cloud) to get a better foreground but this phenomenon in the sky only lasted for about 3-4 minutes so by the time I got to Dog Rocks it was gone.

  • A wave on a windy day.

  • Same rock as in Solitary Confinement . Can’t really decide whether I like the vertical format or the landscape format of this rock. • It was so windy today that many of the trees had been stripped bare of their leaves, before they even had a chance to show their bright autumn colors. It seemed like winter was loudly announcing its early arrival! The turbulent gray clouds were totally obscuring the sunset tonight and the lighting was very “flat”. At least the farmer’s fields were still displaying their beautiful fall colors as darkness of night was quickly approaching. The abandoned farmhouse proudly stands in the middle of the farmer’s field, weathering another season, as it has for over a century. Farmland in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, USA This photo was was shot using a Canon EOS 10D camera with a Canon EF 100-300mm f/4.5-5.6 USM zoom lens. The focal length was zoomed to 95mm. The shutter speed was 1/90th sec. at f/5.6. The camera’s ISO was set to 400. A Manfrotto tripod was used. This is an HDR image, comprised of three exposures, processed in PhotoMatrix Pro for Mac.
