It was blowing a gale while taking these photos, there was lighting strikes to the far right of the picture, but I wasn’ able to capture any. I didn’t think any of these would turn out any good considering the conditions, so it was a nice suprise to come away with some nice shots. not long after this was taken it started to rain and the people fishing and myself made a mad dash for our cars. all in all a fun afternoon.

A corolla winding its way down the Lake Mountain Road back towards Marysville in Victoria’s Yarra Ranges. Taken with my Canon 40D… finally! Processed in Adobe Photoshop CS and Lightroom 2. Sales 1 Matted Print Featured in the Transport group on the 15th of April 2009 On Saturday the 7th of February my family lost our home away from home at Marysville, as well as our two Rhodesian Ridgebacks and our Abyssinian cat. Nine multiple exposures (each 30 seconds apart) on a windy day. I used a polerizing filter to reduce each exposure time (1/4 second at f22). The clouds have moved and blurred over the four and a half minutes. Taken at UWA

Interesting day this was, 30 knot cool winds, heavy showers, hot sunshine with 80% humidity, and a nice high tide to create these beautiful explosions!! I havn’t seen the ocean quite this rough in a long time, even when cyclone hamish was off the coast. Canon 50D, 21mm. Available very large!
