  • I Love You
    by Darlene

    US$3.42–US$91.20

I am most proud of this shot so far in my short time doing photography. This image incorporates my passionate nature with my love of the ocean. I used to lobster fish with my Dad and so the ocean holds a lot of dear, and not so dear LOL, memories for me. I almost froze my hands off doing this. It was snowing a little while before I took this shot so you can imagine close to the water, with a breeze, how cold it was. However, in the name of love and romance, anything goes! LOL

  • Tombstone Sunset

This photo was taken in Windsor, Nova Scotia. The lone cross was pointed out to me by my girlfriend. • The Storm Ahead
    by Jeremy Harrington

    US$3.71–US$98.80

I took this shot from the Windsor turf farms today while following a storm which hit about 5 minutes later.. It is an HDR shot and I think HDR was the right choice as it shows details in both the sky and landscape.. / I have always wanted to try and get a storm shot while down at the turf farms because the scene just looks so typically australian to me.. / I decided to include the gate to break up the scene a bit and add something more to view than just turf and the sky.. / Anyway as usual all comments and/or thoughts are welcome.. / Thanks for having a look! • Tree lined
    by ozczecho

    US$4.28–US$114.00

Bank holiday….what do you do? As a sub contractor for a bank, I gladly accepted a day off and headed for the hills. Woke up really early and traveled out to the outskirts of Sydney. Had a great few hours of photography. I found this spot by accident. Nature called, so I had to pull to the side of the road. In the distance I noticed a gorgeous valley. I decided to try and find it. After a bit of trial and error bingo, another spot. by Darlene

    US$3.42–US$91.20

The fall colours in Nova Scotia can be so beautiful. This picture was taken from a spot in West Pennant called Hospital Hill. Hospital Hill is a couple of miles back in the woods but well worth the hike! When you climb to the top of the hill the views are spectacular, ocean in one direction and hills in the other.

  • Stop Pickin' On Me
    by Scott Ruhs

    US$3.42–US$91.20

This is the Father of the singer in my band, Under Pressure. The band was invited to the singer’s family reunion and I took this shot of her Father while he was playing on their front porch. This was my favorite shot from that day. “Stop Pickin’ On Me” has been featured in the Happy Haven group. This image came in 2nd in a “Capture The Moment” photo competition among over 400 entries. “Stop Pickin’ On Me” is available in all print formats offered by Red Bubble / / Buying “Stop Pickin’ On Me” as a gift? • This picture was taken on March 8, 2008; a very rainy foggy day in Sambro, NS. This was fitting weather for a small fishing community remembering their five friends, neighbours and family members lost at sea 20 years ago. On March 8th, 1988 the fishing boat “Bonnie Lou II” was lost at sea and the five fisherman on board were never found. Had the men survived the storm the sight of this lighthouse, which stands at the entrance to Sambro, would have welcomed them home.

  • Freedom
    by Darlene

    US$3.42–US$91.20

I have only experienced it once, but I have never forgotten the feeling of freedom I experienced while flying over a field on horseback. I hope to find that same experience again someday soon!

Bank holiday….what do you do? As a sub contractor for a bank, I gladly accepted a day off and headed for the hills. Woke up really early and traveled out to the outskirts of Sydney. Had a great few hours of photography. This was my last shot for the day. It was getting late (11.30am) and the light was becoming harsh – but I actually turned around and drove back to take this shot…..just love the bareness of the land Photo Taken: 6-Aug-2007 / Time: 11:30am / Conditions: Beautiful winters day   /   /   /   /   /   /   /   /   /   Some other images from the same trip: / /   /   / /   /   /

  • Having A Hay Day
    by Darlene

    US$3.42–US$91.20

On a Sunday drive, near Avondale, Nova Scotia, we happened upon a man loading hay bales onto the trailer he was pulling with his tractor. It was a neat shot but I wanted something a bit different so I took this. Hope you like it!

  • Gullingo 1
    by Darlene

    US$3.42–US$91.20

This boat belongs to a good friend of mine who owns a country cottage in my hometown of West Pennant, Nova Scotia, Canada. The title of this piece is the name of his vessel. My friends mother is very important to him and allowed him to have his dream get away so he named his boat in her honour. When he was a child she used to call his wee wee, you guessed it, Gullingo! LOL
