This is my little brother. He recently had brain sugery to remove a cyst in his brain… this was taken just before the operation… the hope in his eyes is really inspiring it seems the operation has changed a little but not much… we all still hold hope that he will be able to attend high school next year and not have to be home schooled … this photo is dedicated to his struggle.

Computers are pretty much part of our lives now but I remember the horror of the first Win 95 window pop up and seeing FATAL ERROR. ...I totally freaked and was ready to take the computer back to the department store for a refund…before a friend gently and laughingly explained what was going on…....but I never got over that “in your face” feeling of Fatal Error and Fatal Exception. / ..I mean why Fatal ….., that’s so fatal, why not some cute character like me popping up saying, “Don’t Stress Darlink, but we have to close for a bit” And what about “Illegal Operation”...I swear the first time it happened I thought the stormtroopers were going to break down the front door! I couldn’t resist going back up to Dove Lake for another round of shots.(sounds like a night out!!!!) Looked out the lounge room window, grabbed the canon 50d again, and off!!!! This shot taken July 7 2009. Almost a year after Cradle Snow was taken. Remarkable how nature works!!!!!! This image was taken with a canon eos 50d with a canon 18-55mm IS lens. This building caught my eye as I was driving because of the brilliant green moss. Photo as is with no post-processing. Oregon really is that green. We even get moss on aluminum roofs. All it takes is a pine needle or leaf to get the moss growing!!!!
