BUY THIS CARD AND FEEL GOOD FOR WEEKS! Delightful baby welcomes home her parents. Taken in 1996 in Greystones Wicklow. I was taking portrait shots of the baby, she´s my cousins, through the kitchen back door window when the baby just latched herself onto the glass by her tongue and almost magnetically began to rise up the window frame. I could hardly take the picture for laughter. 3393 views / 125 favouritings / 166 comments / 4 sales C’mon Guys and Girls buy a baby today!! This image came about in an awesome way for me. Two weeks earlier, the model, Margrit, was telling me a bit about her life. She’s lived and travelled in many countries and taken lots of opportunities. She has also achieved great success with her photography. Several weeks later, I had an unusual chance to photograph her in an old train – the perfect location to reflect her life’s journey. / In Australia, Margrit has achieved her LAPS and AAPS, and is the only West Australian women to received international photographic honours AFIAP. She’s a perfectionist and it shines through in her work. Full view please :) Once again Sally Omar has written a beautiful poem to accompany this image. Check it out After All We’ve Been Through girlinthestars my favourite RB poet and RB friend, also wrote an amazing poem for this piece. Here is After All We’ve Been Through: I listened to advice / And so, I am here alone / Lying in a creaking boat of hope / As bitty holes let / Our tragedy seep in / And I start sinking again I have tried to convince myself / That, yes / Yes / This is right / We should not be together / Their counsel for me to let you go / Is for something I surely don’t see / And yet they know But then why? Why is there an aching so deep / That any task needs / Absolute relevance to my existence / Or else I don’t even care Why is there a picture in my mind / Of a summer’s day / And no matter how hard I try / You are there with me / You are squinting in the sun / You tell me things that I believe / And the very thought of it / Encompasses my body so much / I feel I have lived it And when I open a book / That is supposed to engage me / Why do you gently land upon the page / In disguise of a butterfly / And I follow you / To a vast field / That smells of rain / A nostalgic scent of innocence / And life / And everything I want / Everything I hoped for / Begins to evolve in it all / And it always leads me back to you / This tightening in my chest / Protesting / After all we’ve been through The drenching sun upon the crack of my ceiling / Love is not perfect, it’s a perfect feeling I want them to tell me what is so fantastic / About this life I am living now I want them to fill that barren wall / Or at least putty the holes in I want them to call me at midnight / And make everything ok I want them to sew up that dress that I tore / Like an invalid in the loss of us But most of all I just want you And that’s the least of what they can do ..::Stock Photo Credit::.. / Dancers / Hallway / Background / Butterflies If you like this, please check out: / / /
Original photography. Looking through the window of an abandoned house in rural North Carolina.
This picture was captured in Arches National Park, Moab, Utah. A friend told me about this great morning shot so I did some research and went after it. It was a tricky climb to the top of a piller to get in the perfect position. I used a Konica Minolta DiMage A2, ISO 100, F/11, AP 2.8, FOCAL 9.8MM, Manual Exposure.

Lots of textures in this porch. Used it to frame a bit of the town in the distance.
