space, interior space, inviting space. even the plants want in. some people look in here and are frightened. i am so sorry for their fear of the blackness, the aged, the wild, aloneness. i come here for the blue. without the space i have trouble finding my blue. i fell in love with a man once who understood these places. i remember the instant of falling. he went clamouring over a rickety fence to see a gravestone. he was 40 years old. he was 5 years old. it was a devastatingly profound moment. i’d known him only for some hours, but right then, racing into his discovery, we became, in our grown up years, childhood friends. i remembered as i watched him how much i’d missed him. i miss him still. /

Shot taken through my bedroom window. Happened to be on the floor playing with Frankie and noticed this ice crystal formation on the window. Behind it is the light on the right side from the setting sun and right in the middle is the outline of the front neighbor’s house, with sky again to the left. / This is pretty much straight from the camera with a little bit of contrast added. Tuesday January 6th 2009. / My apologies for the dirty window but it is that time of year… Featured in Made By Nature September 2009 / Featured in Nirvana group February 2009

I took this shot yesterday morning about 8.15a.m. It was bitterly cold and the windows had much condensation, but I took the advantage of making it look pretty, (I hope) !
