  • I found this wonderful blue tree early one misty morning in Earlwood

  • Original taken on colour slide.Location Lake Wendouree Ballarat

  • This picture was made in Almere, the Netherlands in December 2007 during only tree days of snow.

  • I don’t think I ever knew these existed….. I’d never heard of a weeping cherry tree before. I realize this is not the best shot in the world, and not marketable, really. But it’s such an outstanding tree, I just had to add it here. Lavender Moon~

  • Digital Illustration from a color Photograph. / Pussy Willow Bloom

  • A evening showing its colors on a beautiful spring creek that meanders through a huge meadow in Northern California’s Sierra Nevada.

  • Last light – Mannum South Australia, looking across the mighty Murray River. Shot taken between Mannum and Younghusband standing amongst willows and surrounded by beautiful water birds. Still plenty of water in this stretch to wet the imagination and see tremendous sights at sunrise and sunset. Many thanks to David and Wendy at the Mannum Motel for their help locating the best sites for images along this section of the river. They now run photography tour packages and I found it a great way to spend a couple of days recently.

  • A new ‘Golden Age’ image which I like. Although I am no longer working the figure in Black & white, more than anything because it has caused some confusion in the past as some people have wondered if it is collage photograph work instead of a painted figure! What, with blowing so much Gold dust around I think my lungs must have a lovely liquid Gold lining by now! Acrylic, paper, and gold dust on canvas.

  • "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." / John Muir

  • First Thought / Third Thought – Coming Soon Enjoy! _

  • This is one of my favourite spots in my village (the Netherlands), on a beautiful wintermorning. Every time I bike over the cyclingpath next to the water, the play between the weather, the knotted willow trees and the water show a new scene. / / Canon EOS 350D / /

  • Winter willows sit nestled in between layers of fog and mist on a cold winter morning. Olympus SP 55OUZ camera used . Auto setting, no flash.

  • AS IS out of camera Canon PowerShot SX10 IS April 18, 2009, Brookline MA

  • Our cat Willow a lovely old lady , she is 16 , shot taken in March 2009. / / MCN:C879B-4AA5F-E35AE

  • Another crack at smoke photography. Huge thanks to Chris Richards for his advise. The pic was taken by lighting a incense stick with a standard desk lamp with a home made snoot to focus the light on the rising smoke, a black back drop was used to get maximum contrast. The image was then reversed in Photoshop to obtain the white background. I took loads of pics with only a few successful ones, this one looked like a forlorn woman to me, her head down with flowing sleeves, but maybe I’ve been staring at incence smoke too long lol. Any feedback would be really appreciated Camera : Canon A590 IS / ISO: 80 / F: 2.6 / shutter: 1/125

  • A close up portrait view of a willow ptarmigan, razor sharp and clear image using large file size. A companion image is also available: Ptarmigan Portrait

  • Not sure if I’ll sell this one yet. / view my current eBay listings This one really took a lot out of me and came perilously close to being slashed with a stanley knife last week. Not surprisingly, the face which has finally emerged looks less than happy…..although there is a hint of a wry smile. Perhaps she’s accepted the fact that things don’t always turn out the way you hope they will….but if you let go, you might end up with something far more interesting instead. currently listening to: The Verve – Weeping Willow medium: acrylic on stretched canvas size: 90cm x 120cm

  • Wintry sunset near the Danube, Belgrade, Serbia. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-——- / “Wintry Sunset” is featured in the group – Live, Love, Dream (01.09.2009)

  • Picture was taken in the very mature and beautiful gardens of Ashford Castle, co. Mayo, Ireland. The gardens are rich with autumn colours at the moment. PP in PS and tweaked colours a bit.

  • Winner of Animal and human with mood challenge This image was featured in Benches on November 15th, 2009 Unbreakable and unconditional love / After a playful afternoon man and dog resting at a little bench in the gardens of Ashford Castle, Ireland

  • Okay, not a shot I setup, but I did encourage the kids who were throwing sunflowers into the lake to try to space them a little better, and tell their dog to chill out for like 5 seconds.
