From the Carnivalesque series – a little tee (Originally only available in white – since the quality of the image was much clearer. However I’m making other colours available as an experiment. The white areas are lost on the colour, which I don’t particularly like – but if you do then I won’t stop you from buying one!)

The White King / Artist: Scott Robinson / Biography: Danny The White King’s Story The king had surrounded himself all his long life with men of power, spirituality and ambition building a Kingdom over the millennia to rival all those that surrounded his borders. / With the help of a fallen Angel whom he had tricked into servitude he has built and commissioned the University of the Gear, to create new and wonderful machinery and search the murky waters of mysticism to create weapons and soldiers. His beautiful and young wife picked for her ability to survive rather than love, had proved to be a winning hand and it was she who ran the royal house with an iron fist. With this choice, the King had opened up a Pandora’s box of intrigue and ambition that would play in the background without his knowledge. The King also knew his limitations, all his life he had built up this vast society that placed him at its apex, but in reality he was a hollow man with no real talent. He was not a great general; even a soldier and his faith, even in old age could be considered heretical. For the truth hid a different story. The King himself was a fallen Angel expelled from Heaven because of pride. The white king had never learnt his lesson and over thousands of years had hidden the truth of his origins and taken over the whole kingdom. But as the bitterness and years ate away at him his thoughts had moved onto more perverse spiritual matters. The King had been building up an unstoppable army for centuries and knew how to apply for challenging rights to the battlefield of the Ancients. By nominating for the Cosmic battlefield he could prove once and for all that his God had made a mistake and would welcome him back through the gates of Heaven. / All he could do was watch and wait for the game to play out. / That game was his life and that of all those he ruled.

Tim and i get really pissed off and annoyed when we see how stupid some of the supposedly cultured people here are behaving. From fighting over the Hello Kitty, to rushing into the train before the passengers could get out.. I’ve lost count how many times Tim just wanted to kick these people rear for being a moron.. My guardian angel… The belief that God sends a spirit to watch every individual was common already in Ancient Greek philosophy, and Plato alludes to it in Phaedo. Similarly, the belief appears in the Old Testament, although it is not specifically articulated nor delineated. The belief that angels can be guides and intercessors for men appears in Job 33:23-6, and in the Book of Daniel (specifically Daniel 10:13) angels seem to be assigned to certain countries. In this latter case the “prince of the Persian kingdom” was referring to one of the fallen angels also known to many as a demon. The same verse mentions “Michael, one of the chief princes,” and Michael is one of the few angels named in the Bible. In the schemata of angels developed in later literature, Michael is an archangel. The Book of Enoch, part of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church’s canon of scripture, says that God will “set a guard of holy angels over all the righteous” (1En 100:5). In Matthew 18:10, Jesus says of children: “See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven” (New International Version). This is often understood to mean that children are protected by guardian angels. In Acts 12:12-1 there is another allusion to the belief that a specific angel is assigned to protect each individual. After Peter had been escorted out of prison by an angel, he went to the home of ‘Mary the mother of John, also called Mark’. The servant girl, Rhoda, recognized his voice and ran back to tell the group that Peter was there. However the group replied, “It must be his angel”’. And also the concept of angels is common in the Islamic religion. Angels in Islam are light-based creatures, created from light, by God to serve and worship Him. Belief in angels is one of the six Articles of Faith in Islam, without which there is no faith. The six articles are belief in: God, His angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Last Day, and that predestination, both good and evil, comes from God. Qur’an, Sura 17. Al-Isra verse 95. [Isra, The Night Journey, Children of Israel] “Say, ‘If there were settled, on earth, angels walking about in peace and quiet, We should certainly have sent them down from the heavens an angel for a messenger.’” قُلْ لَوْ كَانَ فِي الأرْضِ مَلائِكَةٌ يَمْشُونَ مُطْمَئِنِّينَ لَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَلَكًا رَسُولا And it is clear that there is a set order or hierarchy that exists between Angels, defined by the assigned jobs and various tasks to which angels are commanded by God.
