I promise this maybe the last vineyard shot for a while I only discoverd the name of this area recently while trying to find out where Aldinga meets Willunga. Whites Valley is located between Aldinga & Willunga along Biscay Rd. Because of this I may have to re-name some of my images for there correct locations. / Not only dose this area have a lot of Vines growing , there seems to be a lot more Olive trees growing in the region. Up the road from this location is the town of Willunga also known for its Almonds. The platform of the old Coonawarra railway Station. Overgrown and disused but still bearing the hallmark name of the region. For those few of you who have never heard of Coonawarra it is THE premium red wine region of Australia. Blood red soil over limestone in perfect growing climate. Near Penola in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia. Cannon 400D, 3 shot HDR 18/55 converted to B&W in CS3.
