  • In a field of young wheat, I saw these two solitary poppies sitting between the tracks laid down by farm machinery. For whatever reason, the title of the ghost story ‘Lost Hearts’ by Montague Rhodes James, (1862 – 1936), provost of King’s College, Cambridge and of Eton popped into my thoughts. Digitally altered in PS/CS2, image and textures my own
