Season’s Greetings.
i loved this wharf on the pittwater, the cottages look beautiful, a pretty little beach / with bush surrounding. I’m doing a whole series of these wharfs. I also really liked the Currawong logos, i’ve changed them a little to balance out the signs. / This is a painting on canvas, real nails hammered thru the sign and on the wharf posts.
Another neckcraning view taken in london docklands canary wharf – I felt like a real country mouse, impressed at every turn and of course especially with that (?) window cleaner up there ;)) / / A companion view to vertigo / / / lines up So hope its not too boooring….. / ;))) /
/ This bronze Nikon Nikkormat camera sits at the side of a fountain in a square just off Shad Thames in Butler’s Wharf near Tower Bridge. How’s that for an address! / I don’t know whether this is made entirely of bronze or just been dipped in bronze. It does seem rather detailed. / There is sits, at the side of the fountain along with some bronze books and bronze ballet-shoes, gathering verdigris.
Thius is the Wharf at Belmont looking into Lake Macquarie. Taken with the D70 not long after i purchased it. The still water with the spectacular sunset makes this one of my favourite shots of this location.

Today, the town’s lobster boats and long-liners still tie up at the wharf to unload their catch, not far from Lady Jane Franklin II, the magnificent Gordon River Cruise boat. A very peaceful scene captured standing on the wharf at Marmong Point Marina [ in New South Wales ] on a very pleasant afternoon in Autumn 2009. Image As Is, straight from a 6 MP Sony Cyber-Shot. A polished wooden boat on display at the Heritage Afloat Festival at Toronto, New South Wales. I applied an Oil Painting filter to one copy of the Original Layer, then selectively coloured the boat to make it stand out from the black and white background. I decided to tint the B&W layer because it’s a more colourful way to do S/C, while still focusing the viewers attention on the full colour bit of the scene. The photograph was taken using a 6 MP Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S500 and was As Is until I applied the treatment. The Untouched Original Digital Photograph: / The Edited Photograph For Sale: /

Another shot from yesterday’s beautiful fog. The old cargo sheds now contain popular restaurants and bars which are busy on sunny days. I don’t think many people would have been sitting outside yesterday, even though it was relatively warm.
