I spook to the two men they where from Fitzroy Crossing. They where watching a crowd of Indeginous Aboriginal men and women ‘hanging’ outside in the Plaza. They where waiting for the local liquorshop to open, In Fitzroy is now a ‘ban’ on alcohol, they told me, so Fitzroy Crossing is now a ‘dry’ Community Miss. / Broome, Western Australia. / Today I received an email stating; CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR IMAGE ‘TYPAN’ is one of 55 images from the PEOPLE & PLANET International Photo Competition. to be published in the 2009 People&Planet; Social Justice & Enviroment Diary, which will be published this month in Australia (2009). / We thought that your image was incredible, and it won from a pool of OVER 1000 images from 316 photographers from around the World! / All funds raised by the People&Planet diary go to Australia’s small non profit organisations which are working to promote social-justice and environmental substainability around the world. / / watched 802 times 7-11-09

I have always loved Sea urchins and have always collected them from when i was a child right up into adulthood. They would be the first thing I would look for when I got out of my car and my feet hit the sand on the beach. Suprisingly there arent that many to be found anymore on the beach where I have always gone to find them. sony ax 300 SLR 70 – 200ml lense.

“Chisholm” is a signed,original, pastel and prismacolor pencil drawing. The romance of the West, Southwest and the Cowboy is a subject I always return to. I live both in Colorado and in Nevada, so I have an endless supply of personal photography that I draw from for these drawings. My first love is the painting of horses…this is another vintage piece ( painted at least 25 years ago)... that I discovered on a visit during my trip back to Colorado. / Again the photography does not do the art any justice but it is still fun for me to see these old works have a second life as I add to my collection here at RB. / When we had our ranch in Colorado, I would sit out in our pasture, in my lawn chair and sketch our horses…I’d wait until they were far away and then I would rattle the Sweet-Mix bucket…then photograph and sketch them running to me! / This piece is painted with oil on self stretched artist linen canvas and is 24”X 28” unframed. / Thanks for viewing my art.
