Lake King… happy in the middle of nowhere. I thought the smiley face on the sign contrasted with the adversity this landscape presented for it’s community.

Car Triptch Part 1. Kulin, Tin Horse Highway. This sculpture is made from real horse bone and fabricated steel and is one of many along the “tin horse highway” refering to a famous horse race held every year in the outback town of Kulin. The inclusion of the car window to frame the sculpture pays homage to my hero Lee Friedlander and helps to show the role I play within this landscape.

Abandoned building in Jerome, AZ – old wild west!!!! Much happened in this copper mining town, back in the day. I lived nearby, so I’d go up there every so often, and I’d get dizzy every time I visited. Hard to really transfer the spookiness of this old place, but I hope I did a good job.

The cliffs at Willapark near Forrabury, Boscastle, North Cornwall on a March day. The white building is a former summerhouse, now used by the National Coastwatch Institute as a lookout. The South West Coast Path passes nearby.

Hi This shot was made along Morecambe Promanade one evening before sunset. It was a grey over cast day with no colour to be seen so a Mono conversion was the way to go. Not long after i took this picture the storm hit big time with me having to run back to the car! Thanks for taking the time to look. Stevie ............................................................................................................................................. Camera Settings Exposure Program >> Aperture Priority / Exposure Time >> 1/20 sec Tripod Mounted / Aperture >> F/11 / Focal Length >> 18mm / ISO >> 200 It was shot in RAW and later converted in Photoshop CS2. Adjustments made were Levels, Curves, Gradient Map, Reduce Noise and Dodging and Burning! It was then saved as a Tiff file for storage and a Jpeg for here.
