PLEASE VIEW LARGE This is one of the most peaceful shots I took. Thus the illusive and loving Wendy Slee has been called by these very leaves to meet them. / Note: within minuets of the viewing Wendy channeled this poem and I knew then when you follow how you feel all becomes like a bright light of Love. I mean this shot literally called Wendy to them (leaves). She is a treasure to connect with.. Much Love and Appreciation Wendy.. Breeze of Existence / By: Wendy Slee 2008 Then as if through deep forests, / With their breath held waiting / Comes a stirring, a movement, anticipating… / Leaves awaken, heart quickens, limbs lift and extend / To receive the cool caress of a long welcome friend. / And you are here, / You the wind, / It is you that I know, / Yet know not where you come from, nor where you will go. / A free spirit you pass by me, / Yet somehow remain, / Swirling around me and through me, / Easing the pain… I ache to just hold you, keep you here for all time / But I can’t catch the wind / Cannot grasp what’s not mine…. / If I close my fingers, I’ll hold nothing but air… / If I reach out to possess you, it’s myself I’ll ensnare… / So I stand in your path, feel your breath on my face / And just bask in your spirit / As it moves through my space… / In the silence of your passing, the emptiness wake, / There’s a stillness that echoes with all you evoked / The power and beauty of the zephyr flies free / But your essence and magic has become part of me..

Several months ago I was commissioned to do another cover for Conscious Living magazine here in Australia. The theme was to focus on “wild” and in particular….HORSES! / My first thoughts turned to a good friend and talented photographer here on Redbubble – Gene Praag who regularly captures amazing images of the wild horses in his home state of Utah. / And so I asked this fellow bubbler would he be able to help me with REAL wild horse images to work with, as opposed to me taking shots of local domestic horses and pretending they were “wild”. / From this collaboration I generated several pieces of art, and had loads of fun, and I have to say, both Gene and I were surprised at the magazine’s final choice of one of the less artistic images for their cover this issue….. (and yes, before anyone comments, I reckon Equus is spelled differently…lol) so I decided to share with you, one of the other images created from our joint efforts. SO thank you most sincerely to Gene for his generosity and kindness and for being so helpful in this project…... if you haven’t already done so, please take a moment to check out his amazing portfolio of images featuring the wild horses of the USA captured in their natural habitat, and being …... wild and free….. along with many other beautiful landscapes and subjects….. My son has dreams that he can fly, only in his dreams, he’s Iron Man! Well, I havent got a $Billion flying suit, I do, however, have photoshop, so he can fly in his Ben 10 trousers and Dalek t shirt instead. I love this picture. It all began, leaping from a table in a park… :)

This couple recently returned to their summer home. Last year they brought friends, and both families raised at least 2 clutches of little ones. Mrs. Goldman is offcamera here. / This photo was taken by Wendy, our wonderful care-giver and dear friend. She says this is the best photo of the male she’s taken. That either of us has taken, I think! / CONTRAST / See the brightness of the bird compared to the dark underbrush and trees in the background! /

Two girls walk down a winding path towards a large fantasy full moon. The original photo was taken at Craters Of The Moon National Monument in Idaho on an overcast day with a white sky. The two sisters were walking down the path with mom and dad directly behind, so I knew I had only one chance to capture the shot. / I quickly set up my tripod. / The blurred effect of the girls was from using slow speed Velvia 50 slide film. In Photoshop the midnight blue sky was placed in using the gradient tool, The moon was imported from another separate image I had taken.
