Sucking down a cold one in the Egyption desert. We thought we were in the middle of nowhere when we encountered this scene. No villages for miles, no clues as to how the boys got there. We approached these boys to find them uncovering an esky full of ice and 1/2 a dozen softdrinks -one of the few times where haggling over price was not performed.

So we decided to thrill Zach with an outing to the city (Melbourne). An extra bonus was that the Nick Cave exhibition happened to be showing at the Vic Arts Centre…..the biggest hit of the visit were these amazing moving people going up and down the steps whilst standing still!! (Staff at the arts centre only relaxed after I convinced them the real subject of my photos was my 1&1/2 yr old boy – not the general public in the foyer)
