Hello and welcome to all Red Bubblers in this group! I am really excited about reading, exploring and debating artistic pieces of work that are so typical of so many talented writers on RB. A few house rules: (1) Let’s try to keep it to 1-2 downloads per person on a daily basis to allow the work to be viewed and not flood the group page please. / (2) Have fun and be as creative as you like / (3) When commenting or feeding back remember to be sensitive – artists are sensitive people! / (4) Any queries about the group – send me a Bubblemail and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. / (5) Any ideas or suggestions – I’m all ears Most of all enjoy! Here’s to an unfolding magical journey of creativity and the inspiration that comes with being part of such a wonderful group of people! Suzanne

  • I don’t use acrylic very much, mainly when I’m using an airbrush. I felt the urge to do another space scene and just had to get it out of the system. I shall now calm down and go back to landscapes, portraits and cartoons. If those life-forms are welcoming humans to their planet, I wonder if they know what they’re letting themsleves in for…apart from the common cold! acrylic and board.

  • I’ll be uploading shots from my abandoned house series, so be / sure to check back. ;) / / When I got there, this is what greeted me. • June 26th How excited I am! Tomorrow is my birthday, and my sisters have told me that Papa will be arriving first thing, and that he has a very special treat in store for me. Naturally since learning of this, I have been at pains to discover what awaits me. Yet to my utter dismay, when I try to interrogate my sisters , they will only say that they are sworn to secrecy, then glance at one another and burst into infuriating giggles. I feel that if I am to succeed in my endeavour to extract the necessary information before morning, I must first get to each of them separately, then use all the cunning and ingenuity inherited from my beloved father. What springs immediately to mind, is to adopt the guile of one of Nature’s predators and pursue the weaker of the pack. Knowing as I do of Audrey’s great fondness for fruit bonbons, I shall arm myself with said items, and make my way to her bedchamber this very evening. Let us see how long her lips remain sealed when such delightful confection is offered in exchange for her secrets!

  • Part of the Ophelia series. / Model is Missy / Makeup and Hair by Loran Bean / Assistant – Adam / Photography and Post by myself Comments are very appreciated. please leave one! I thought I might say a little bit about how we got these Ophelia shots. Missy is a VERY talented photographer friend of mine (to view her work, go http://missyjanek.deviantart.com/) and she has also modeled for me in the past. I thought she’d be great for this concept, so we started about 3pm yesterday. All was going well until she got in the pool and said “I don’t know how to swim!” So we struggled and propped her up with pool noodles and floaties and Adam even held her legs while she tried to stay afloat. I felt like she really was going to drown a couple of times! (We kept her in the shallow end, of course! and my dog was keeping watch as life guard.) For someone who had not really been in water before, I think she did a great job. :)
