  • Another shot from an exposed tree due to the drought and low water level at the Hume Weir. Someone that viewed my image said that the swoosh of clouds and the tree reminded themof a magic wand.

  • Taken at hume weir Albury Australia. Taken about 20 minutes after sunset, there was still colour in the sky, however the first star was out.

  • Taken at Hume Weir, Albury Australia. Although we have had some rain of late the weir is still very low due to the drought. There are still plenty of dead trees sticking out of the water. The tangled/entwined appearance of this tree got me thinking about how all the elements are linked/entwined.

  • Taken at Hume Weir Albury, Australia. Despite recent rain the water level in our weir is still very low (around 10%) so many of the old trees that were killed when the valley was damed are still poking through the water.

  • A foggy day in Badger Weir.

  • Taken at Hume Weir Albury NSW Australia, taken just after the sun had set but 180 degrees away from the sunset. Although not a fiery sunset it still left some light in the sky.

  • All the elements seemed to converge this night, was a truly serene image.

  • This is the Hume Weir taken from Huon Reserve on the way out to Tallangata. Although the weir is currently at 18% and in a better position then the last couple of years the situation is still quite dire for a lot of the country and farmers.

  • Featured in the Waterfall Photography and Mountain and Light groups DEC 2008. Scaleber Force is convenienly situated by the road side (Settle to Airton) so nobody needs walk more than a few yards to view the waterfall. As with many waterfalls in the Yorkshire Dales its a surrounded by a small copse. The drop on the waterfall is around 20 feet. The best option to include the waterfall with a decert walk is from Malham Tarn to Settle via Langscar Gate then Stockdale Lane rather than the usual route past Attermire Scar.
