A little red ant having a good old time rolling around in the pollen, he seemed a bit perturbed at my lens following him all around though.
Eventually I intend to make a series of “weeds” shots. The rationale being that often the things we consider to be an eyesore can actually be very beautiful. This is the first but don’t hold your breath. I get sidetracked easily. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-——-
Watch the Video here Feel it falling off like clothing / Taste it rolling on your tongue / See the lights above you glowing / Oh and breathe them deep into your lungs It was always simple, not hidden hard / You’ve been pulling at the strings playing puppeteer for kings / And you’ve had enough But the search ends here / Where the night is totally clear / And your heart is fierce / So now you finally know that you control where you go / You can steer So hold this feeling like a newborn / Of freedom surging through your veins / You have opened up a new door / So bring on the wind, fire and rain It was always simple, not hidden hard / You’ve been played at a game called remembering your name / And you stuffed it up But the search ends here / Where the night is totally clear / And your heart is fierce / So now you finally know that you control where you go / You can steer ‘Cos you’ve been listening for answers / But the city screams and all your dreams go unheard But the search ends here / Where the night is totally clear / And your heart is fierce / So now you finally know that you control where you go / You can steer / Year get out of the box and step into the clear / ‘Cos now you finally know you can steer Missy Higgins

I don’t know why, but everywhere I go these days I see these beautiful, colourful weeds. By the side of the road, in a field, hiding in the garden. Some of these are magnificent…I’m not sure that this is one such magnificent creature, but I like to capture the neglected and ignored flowers around me and give them a once-over.

This is a result of laying on ground for a long time waiting for the windy flows of air to slow down just enough.. After 30 minutes I captured a few but then I thought Ok.. Chuck.. See if you can catch one flower sort of still while the rest waggle away.. I did.. These flowers were only a few inches tall.. They are weeds .. I did not mow them down because I thought they were so pretty.. While I was down there enjoying the day.. I rolled over to view a sky full of wispy clouds which looked really cool for mid day.. Oh you will see them soon.. / P.S. This put me in a daydream state when I set it to my desktop view.. Dress Up Your Kitchen /
This was taken last spring just after the first dandelions turned into fuzz balls. I’m satisfied with how it turned out, and I hope you are too!
