father o father where do rainbows start? / well my little one, that there is an art! / rainbows are made by a magical thing / when we need rainbows we know who to ring! / rainbows are made from a magical cup / cool amber beer, drunk skulled and sup / and when the rain clouds leave oh what glee / out comes a rainbow in the gush of a pee .;.

  • Wee Boat
    by Robin Brown

    US$3.99–US$91.20

This wee boat sits in Cockenzie Harbour on the shores of the River Forth near Edinburgh in Scotland. I think its one of my best images to date. It was shot on a Nikon D70 which has since given up. I now shoot with a D200 but I do still miss my D70. I have another online portfolio at www.artwanted.com/robinbrown. I have some 275 images there at any one time. It will take me a wee while to get my Redbubble portfolio up to that number of images but then Rome wasn’t built in a day. / Thanks for viewing. /

    by AnitaInverarity

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Pen and Ink Drawing inspired by Robert Burns (the Baird)xxxx / Wee, sleekit, cowrin, tim’rous beastie, / O, what a panic’s in thy breastie! / Thou need na start awa sae hasty / Wi bickering brattle! / I wad be laith to rin an’ chase thee, / Wi’ murdering pattle. I’m truly sorry man’s dominion / Has broken Nature’s social union, / An’ justifies that ill opinion / Which makes thee startle / At me, thy poor, earth born companion / An’ fellow mortal! I doubt na, whyles, but thou may thieve; / What then? poor beastie, thou maun live! / A daimen icker in a thrave / ‘S a sma’ request; / I’ll get a blessin wi’ the lave, / An’ never miss’t. Thy wee-bit housie, too, in ruin! / It’s silly wa’s the win’s are strewin! / An’ naething, now, to big a new ane, / O’ foggage green! / An’ bleak December’s win’s ensuin, / Baith snell an’ keen! Thou saw the fields laid bare an’ waste, / An’ weary winter comin fast, / An’ cozie here, beneath the blast, / Thou thought to dwell, / Till crash! the cruel coulter past / Out thro’ thy cell. That wee bit heap o’ leaves an’ stibble, / Has cost thee monie a weary nibble! / Now thou’s turned out, for a’ thy trouble, / But house or hald, / To thole the winter’s sleety dribble, / An’ cranreuch cauld. But Mousie, thou art no thy lane, / In proving foresight may be vain: / The best laid schemes o’ mice an’ men / Gang aft agley, / An’ lea’e us nought but grief an’ pain, / For promis’d joy! ORIGINAL SOLD 2008 / WINNER OF THE “CELEBRATION OF THE BAIRD” Challenge in “THE SCOTS ARE COMING” FEB 2009 (with many thanks) xxxxxxx / FEATURED IN THE SCOTS ARE COMING MARCH 2009 xx Products at Zazzle including this cute mousemat….....

  • Wee White
    by cdwork

    US$4.66–US$106.40

I had an experiment using 1600 ISO in conjunction with a Canon 100mm 2.8 macro lens and a 400D. The exposure time was 1/2000 and the focal length 100 at 2.8. I really liked the graininess and the luminescence of this image. / /

  • Wee Georgie Wood Steam Train / Wee Georgie Wood is a 600mm-gauge (2 feet) 1921 Fowler 0-4-0 tank / steam locomotive that operates on the short Farrell Tramway, which opened for operation between the then isolated mining township of Tullah and Farrell Siding, some 9.6 kilometres away on the Emu Bay Railway in 1909. / Wee Georgie Wood was the prime source of motive power for the tramway between 1921 and 1962, when the new Murchison Highway reached Tullah and the original tramway ceased operations. / Most of the original tramway route was inundated by the rising waters of Lake Rosebery. / In the 1980s Wee Georgie was rescued and restored to full running order by a group of local enthusiasts and volunteers. /
