So where have i been lately? Busy working on my site. I completely overhauled it, to add season 3 stuff. I wanted it up before the new episode comes out on the 24th, and happened to finish most of the stuff on april fools. good timing! still got a damn big to do list though. plus, i got a website job to do for a band in Vancouver. myspace.com/cosmedic .. the singer is currently working out the details with the rest of the band. so yeah. if you dont already know, the fansite features supernatural.. best freakin show on the planet. not to mention, two of the hottest & nicest guys ever. and shocker perhaps.. but the creator, Eric Kripke? Actualy gives a crap about the fans.

Life has been fairly hectic of late. As soon as I recover from a month-long flu I am bombarded with work from all fronts – photography, web design, family, fun – not that I’m complaining! o Working on my photography website / http://www.vanessapikerussell.com.au o updated website for band Acousticatz / http://www.acousticatz.com.au o Working on website for musician Belinda Harkness / http://www.belindaharkness.com.au o Working with some local arts & crafts, jewellery makers on creating / websites to sell their designs o Spending time with my family, especially little Levi who turned two / last month! o Preparing for my own market stall down at Shellharbour Village. Put in / an order for some greeting cards to have in my display, as well as fill / up my portfolio with my recent favourite images and some FAQ about / my photography business and prices. Printing via Redbubble, of / course! o Cooking up a storm with foods that are gluten free. I have some friends / who asked me to convert some of my recipes to gluten free and it has / been a wonderful challenge. Butter shortbread, biscotti and cannoli are / my three main successes but the cornbread made with polenta was a / big hit with my hubby who was in heaven as it came out of the oven :) / I’ve also created a blog to keep all the information I come across / directed at people in the Illawarra (south of Sydney) and it has kept me / busy! http://illawarraglutenfree.blogspot.com / / o Working with some beginner digital photographers, travelling to Kiama / Aug 22nd and Mosman, Sydney a few weeks after. I joined Auslets (a / community exchange scheme) and posted my ‘wants’ and my / ‘services’ and it looks like the work needed around the house / (gardening, vege garden, painting, side gate etc) that I needed will be / paid off by my efforts in web design, photography tutoring and / photographing arts and crafts to go onto websites. I am thankful for / that as I have several disabilities that restrict what I can do and keeps / me focused on my strengths rather than my weaknesses :) Like I said, I’ve been busy! And last night I was treated to a concert featuring Diesel (aka Johnny Diesel and the Injectors aka Mark Lizotte) who was amazing! The last time I had seen him in concert I was 18! What a way to recharge the batteries :)
