They are judged by a lot of serious, really famous folk: David Bowie, Harvey Weinstein, Arianna Huffington, AKQA Global Creative Director Rei Inamoto, Matt Groening, Jamie Oliver, Internet inventor Vinton Cerf (now that is serious), and Rob Glaser. “The Webby Awards honors the outstanding work that is setting the standards for the Internet,” said David-Michel Davies, executive director of The Webby Awards. “RedBubble’s Official Honoree selection is a testament to the skill, ingenuity, and vision of its creators.” And who are “its creators”? This was done, primarily, with Twisted Brush, just testing out different brushes and having fun. Then I switched to Corel Photopaint, a few days later, and did some hand painting and added other elements.

Good morning everyone!! Yea, it’s 6 bloody am here in Sg, but guess what?! / Frozenfa.com is officially “live” now!! YESH!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Finally.. this is my very first official domain name. I’ve decided to retain the name frozenfa, seeing that i’ve been using it for my username all around for the past.. 6yrs? So yeap!! Do drop by my webbie if you wish to read up a lil more about me and the different characters i’ve made for my tees!! There’s no new design yet, but just you wait!! am now left with painting the house.. give me 1 week.. by mid Aug, i should be able to continue illustrating! i can do it!! nyaaaaaaaaanyanya!!! Oh, if you’re wondering what took me so long? Well, i actually finish designing it in June. Did the pages last month.. then got stuck with the Wall-E project.. The codings are not perfect.. am not a programmer (almost failed that module..). so i still haven’t make the codes for my enquiry page more strict.. I will be working on the Mobile Phone Wallpaper Downloads next! hope i can finish and upload it by Monday. So stay tune for that!! XD And there’s so many activities i need to catch up with on RB.. though i must say, it’s lesser than i expected.. Are you guys still there?? I miss you all so much!!!! If this was a beauty pageant we all would be going up to Flickr and giving it a big collective kiss for winning the Webby award. Yes we came in a commendable second to them in the Community category. I am not sure, however, that it feels much like a loss. It was a joy to read the lovely comments (314 of them) on the Webby site about RedBubble. This puts us in the top handful of most commented sites. RedBubble still may be small(ish) but at least we’re passionate. We captured just a few of the comments for posterity including: SHRyan: “Without doubt the best community site I have ever come across. So much talent and support for each other. Puts others in the shade.” Tim Chuma: “I have had my work on my own personal site for over five years and it hasn’t come to as much notice as having it up on RedBubble for less than a year. I have met a few people in real life due to it.” Monster your …: “RedBubble is awesome in it brings so many different cultures together with art, design , photography, friendship, guidance and much, much more!
