  • We have had some amazing sunsets recently. Just so glad to have my camera handy. This one was taken just a couple of streets away from where I live. I was driving home and had to stop to capture this. I could not get a clear shot of just the sky itself, however thought that the street lights added a different perspective to it.

  • Fading light of the day taken at Trigg Beach Western Australia. Really liked the texture feel to the water which seemed to capture the light from the setting sun… can almost feel the peaceful montion of the lapping waves as the water foamed up around the rocks…

  • Downtown Sydney loved the contrast between the old and modern building designs and the continued development. The tower is an amazing centre piece which can be viewed from all points of the city….

  • Beautiful day down at the Sydney Opera House:- / The concert hall has a seating capacity of 2,690. / The smaller opera hall has a seating capacity of 1547. / The building is 185 m long and 120 m wide (591×394ft). / The windows in topaz green French glass cover 6223 sq m (67,000 sq ft) / The roof is covered with more than 1 million tiles, imported from Sweden.

  • I really liked the way the light reflected off the ‘sails’ in this capture. I also liked the slight angle of the stairs, it seems to add something to the balance of the image. The sun was facing me directly so it creted that rainbow haze effect caused by the way the light was hitting the lens. I still can’t help ‘seeing’ the helment of a Spaniard soldier about to pop up at the top of the stairs! /

  • The pride of this mother just shows by the way she is looking over her young. These little ones are only about a week old, and they look so at peace and secure… The amount of joy this little family gave to people walking, jogging by, and just in the short time that I stood by and watched on…
