Webb Bridge is down-to-earth, a project Melbourne can be proud of, built among the superannuated towers of Docklands. It suggests, romantically, the fishing nets, cages, middens and naughty hosiery of the old wharfs. It is biological and ethereal, a stab in the dark and sculptural.

A series of t-shirts with images from Melbourne, Australia. Great for tourists, or just anyone proud of their city. This one features the cone at Melbourne Central, a golden landscape of the sun reflecting off the city on the hoizon (from Williamstown), and the city Museum in Spring street, at the top of Collins Street. Others to come. MELBOURNE IN PHOTOS

Number three in my Webb bridge series of three. Don’t usually go in for the highly manipulated image thing but strangely I don’t have the same qualms about messing with something man made. Had never heard of this place until I found a few pics of it on the bubble and thought I’d check it out. Don’t really like duplicating the work of others either so I’ve used photoshop to give it a bit of a fresh perspective. Webb bridge is in a really exclusive part of town next to a marina full of multi million dollar yachts. The design of the bridge is based on a aboriginal fish trap. On the way back to the car I passed a ‘car yard’ for luxury cards. There were only three cars in the showroom one of them had a ‘B’ with eagle wings sprouting from it, a brand I’d never come across before (a Bentley according to Steven Guy ). I thought it looked pretty nice for $39,900 and then my brain did a double take wait a minute… that’s not… holy crap it’s $399,000!? I was going through some photo archives from last fall and late summer.. I found this capture Kathy made in late August. I do not know why I passed this by then. Maybe I looked past the art and beauty to ??? Well maybe they will not like it because you don’t have tack sharp focus on the web.. Then I thought no this looks like a very private spot for nature to hid its own art.. I shall upload Kathy’s capture because.. Nuff said.. I like it..LOL / Chuck.. Perhaps A Bathroom Wall
Melbourne’s Docklands feature many incredible architectural marvels, including this wonder, the Webb Bridge

Webb Bridge – Docklands, Melbourne (Australia)
Oil on canvas self portrait. I finished this on my 26th birthday. I wanted to capture myself while i was still 25. I just made it litteraly a few minutes before i turned 26, which was at 6:00pm April 15th.
One day while photographing around the Indian River Ft Pierce Fla one mourning captured this photo when the light hit it just right it looked just like a rainbow I very pleased that it came out so well.
the much photographed Webb Bridge in Melbourne by night. Docklands in Melbourne is a strange and eery place sometimes. was on my own, taking a few shots in the area…then this odd fella appeared from nowhere and started kicking a water fountain about 20 metres from me. I decided not to appear approachable, so picked up my gear and started walking away….he followed me all the way to my car. Denton Corker Marshall were the architects of this Melbourne Icon
