This photo was taken during early on a winter day with the clouds rolling in over the ocean.

This was an old abandoned home that was located on a bay. It was such a beautiful location and so sad to see that no one was living there. One the side of the home there was this window with weathered beaten curtains blowing about.

after many many hours and km’s…. this storm was dead and I thought I had missed a ‘dream shot’. North America had the most snowcover in 50 years, with places like Wisconsin the highest since record-keeping began. Record levels of Antarctic sea ice, record cold in Minnesota, Texas, Florida, Mexico, Australia, Iran, Greece, South Africa, Greenland, Argentina, Chile — the list goes on and on. Canunda National Park, Oil Rig Square, near Millicent South Australia. BEST VIEWED LARGE. Driftwood laying in amongst the dunes as the storm passed through. Out for the afternoon some time ago with Baldric when the rains came and went leaving stark sand and dampened timbers. Canon 400D – cir polarising filter on an 18-55 lens.
