It has been rainning non stop for 3 days…..hugh waves at sea. So I decide it was time to get out and see the ocean at Clovelly and Coogee, see how big the swell are. The Blue/Green came from using Tungston WB. 20 sec | f/16 | 10 mm | ISO: 400 | Bias: 0/3 +EV | Tungston WB Videos of the storm: / http://www.hangingpixels.com.au/videos/sydney_storm_june_07/ Hugh waves at Clovelly Beach: / http://www.flickr.com/photos/hangingpixels/537344871/ More NEWS at: / http://www.nowpublic.com/more_deaths_in_australia_storm
An amazing slipstream of clouds. This was shot in Dannevirke, New Zealand. The clouds hovered like that all afternoon! Aotearoa indeed!
A long day out surfing, the sun is setting so it is time to come home.
On a dreary day, the flowers make all the difference.

Re-work of an image removed previously. / Removed the darn tourist photographer who was in the shot, then darkened it a little. Hope you like it. Taken September 2007.
Some of the wild surf at Bells Beach and Winki Pop, created as a result of the strong, gale force winds during the previous day.
The constant parade of swells breaking at Bells Beach always thrills a surfer when they arrive and see this view from the carpark. Although on this day, it was only for the ‘brave and daring’ as the surf was the result of a very severe storm the previous day and was very heavy and a bit messy.

Haystack Rock, Cannon Beach, Oregon 2007 Nikon D80 We walked along the beach. Played in the tidal pools next to Haystack. Built sand castles. Squeeled in the ocean. We had tons of fun. A very great day! Only changed it to BW…maybe a couple tiny corrections…nothing overly processed

I liked this…it’s taken with my Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM. I am loving this lens =-)
The pounding of waves has carved the cliffs on the coast of Victoria into one of Australia’s most iconic natural wonders. The Twelve Apostles are breaking apart, but over time many more will join them. Featured on Home Page (Yeah! my first), June 30th, 2009 Thanks everyone.
