This was taken in Arnos Vale Cemetary in Bristol. / The original is a portrait shot and I am struggling with the crop (rule of thirds etc)........so if anyone has any advice on how to better this…..process wise or crop wise then please dont hesitate! It was foggy Sunday morning. I would usually stay in bed, but it was so foggy that I couldnt pass up the chance to get some shots. I raced in my car to a cemetary near by but the gates were locked so I had to go to a nearby park and make do. It was taken with my Nikon D70, processed in photoshop with very liitle being done apart from being converted to black and white and then a ward filter added. Taken on a very rare snowy morning in Bristol on my way to work. / Its the first time I have shot in the snow and the first time I have used my new tripod, so I was able to get nice slow speeds with a tight aperture. / A little work in PS to correct the colour and sharpen etc. Taken with a Nikon D70 and a CPL.

Anne and Cross I love the way the light dances on the cross and the hint of fall in the leaves. It was a beautiful day, a slight breeze blowing, in the late afternoon on a gorgeous early November day.

I love how the light captures Cynthia’s wing making it look slightly translucent at the tip and caresses her cascading hair. Cynthia’s Angel is named for a beloved buried at Savannah’s Bonaventure Cemetery. She is a gorgeous, beautiful Angel standing amongst the Spanish moss of this Southern place of rest. She holds the dove of peace and the Holy Spirit as well as a bouquet of Roses and Daisies conveying Love, Truth and Innocence.
