Painter, watercolorist, etcher, woodblock print maker. / He published the “Nuremberg Chronicle” in1493 with over 1800 woodcut illustrations. He didn’t think painting could earn him enough money (still true five hundred years later), and turned to printing. / Scholar, intelectual, and successful businessman, his engravings and prints affected the giants who came after him: Raphael, Titian, and Rembrandt.

My entry for the “In Praise of Shadows” Comp. here at Redbubble. Had planned on coming up with something groovier but kinda ran out of time and ideas. So here it is – I played around with my watercolours added some words of wisdom / scanned the whole lot into “the Gimp” image editor and played around with it a little.
