I noticed subtle color striations scattered through this water flow, and wondered if I could capture the effect with my camera. This is an older photograph that I took back on Long Island, so it’s not quite as large a format as most of my stuff, but I love it none the less. The swans, as graceful as ever stay just out of range of my hound, the intrepid hunter. But she still can’t stop herself from dreaming.

Taken in Parliament Square in York (England), a wonderfully sunny summer day attracted the crowds to the fountain, to rest amidst the rush of retail and food. The young lad just turned his leg while his dad looked down and i was lucky enough to get the camera to go click. Converted into black and white pinhole to bring out the shadow/light contrasts

One of the last shots I took in NY in November 2008. I was blown away by the Park showing it’s best autumnal shades along the curved path on the Upper East Side.
