Long exposure of a train entering Union Station in Providence, RI. Captured with a Diana+ with a 35mm back and cross processed Kodak Elite Chrome 100 film. No photoshop manipulation, but the negative was woefully under-exposed, so the scanner had its work cut out to bring the darkened photo to life. “Warped Speed” is featured in the Experimental Photography and Editing and Rhode Island groups. Another older piece. Don’t ask me what it’s supposed to mean, because I don’t have anything resembling an answer. While uploading some of my older work recently I noticed that a lot of the stuff I made during my “marker-crazy” period makes very little sense. Do you think it has something to do with the marker fumes?
.... just a doodle I did while I was sick … must have been the meds :) / Detail /
Detail of my altered art weaving, using cut strips of collage pieces and twigs as weft, and various fibers as warp, with embellishments.

This is the first in a series of shots that I recently took on King Island. / Located in Bass Strait just north of Tasmania. It has a very big Kelp Industry as well as it’s Beef and Cheese. Over the last 200 years, it has claimed hundreds of lives through ships being wrecked all around its coastline. My Great Grandparents were shipwrecked on King Island in 1866 on the’Netherby” whilst emigrating from England. / So click Here! if you want to read about the history of the Netherby Shipwreck ================================ Click here to see more in the King Island Set.
