This is an old warehouse near the now defunct rail yards in my city. Its amazing how some bright paint can liven things up! I like the soaring effect given by the yellow side blocks. /

I would never encourage breaking and entering or even trespassing but sometimes a photographer has to do what a photographer has to do when in need of a big empty warehouse. But then the owner left it unlocked, I was simply passing by and stepped in to check that everything was secure. Just happened to have a model and my beloved D700 with me! Please View Large. Keep It Loose, Keep It Tight My first try at this style. It was fun to do. This is an abandoned warehouse in Manchester, CT. The place was alot creepier until the boys showed up…but it was evident that they were lost. They met up to be their own gang…and to do everything you’re not supposed to… They didn’t mind me taking pictures so long as I gave them space. Maybe they sensed that I’d been in their shoes before. My friends and I used to be lost…and we hung out in places like this too….doing things we weren’t supposed to…

This is the former warehouse of Nichol and Wallace, contractors. They started building in 1858 but ir extended through the 1860’s as they progressively needed more room for their business. some of the different stages can be seen in the different materials used in the side wall It was when we were there the location of the Clunes museum. / Taken with Pentax 1st DS
