Mushita and the wannabes…

sense of place-antique stores. / Photography project, sense of place, dark room black and white photography. I photographed 3 series for the project, antique stores, a gift store and the shop fronts on James street, perth WA.
My three best friends (all brothers) walking barefoot down a block in the West Village of Manhattan. It took forever to find an empty block and one that had a ‘one way’ sign guiding the way. I had some fun with the edit and gave it an artsy look that would give the city justice. This photo was given to their parents in a 10X20 panoramic frame as a 30th wedding anniversary gift. I was told the mother was in tears….mission accomplished :-)
Some morning dew on whatever this is. Some sort of wheat or something.

This is Cookie, my young Turkish Angora look-a-like. I don’t know what his blood line is but he certainly is ridiculously gorgeous. His eyes are naturally bi-colored. I did a bit of a touch-up on them just to lighten them.
A duck that looks like a rooster funny huh?
