This one is a bit older than some of the stuff I’ve put up here so far. It was done a couple of years ago for a book titled “The Big Coat.” (Not exactly my best writing.) Despite the story not exactly standing the test of time I think this piece still holds up fairly well. No? Okay, maybe not, but could you at least pretend that it’s fantastic? Pretty please? Pretty please with sugar on top? Pretty please with sugar and a fresh, crisp new fifty dollar bill on top?

This is a compilation of 3 layers by using photoshop cs2 I simply made a background layer using black and then used a glitterato filter for the sky background effects, I then took the car layer and added this layer to the background layer, then added another layer consisting of the moon, I dropped the opacity of the moon for blending. then added a flood filter… Then using Corel I simply added a fractilius filter, then I also added a seamless tile effect.. / Hope you like it… / /

/ It was two years ago, when I was making my first steps into CGs, that I decided to approach this character and this theme. Since then, I´ve created different versions; and this is the 4th. / Why? All I can tell is that most probably if it wasn´t for this image I´d have quitted CGs a long time ago. / It´s a 3D/original cinema4D render; just added a few lighting effects here and there to enhance the atmosphere.

Canon PowerShot SD1000 Took this one last summer while riding around and taking sunset photos. This was my attempt to create an eye shot that is unique, and not just a regular eye photograph. I achieved the bike reflection by lying down in the grass (very close to my bike) and looking up. After many failed attempts, I finally snapped off a clear shot. Thanks for viewing!

This one I had on my ‘to do’ list for a while, but I kept putting it off because I knew it was going to be a challenge. / Once I started it however, it eventually came together bit by bit. / It is my daughter Chloe being her naturally radiant and colourful self. / For the first time i used no blending tools; no tissue, no paper stumps. This is all done with pencil strokes only!!! This is the one that the eye in Her Eyes Couldn’t Help But Be Drawn In… was the beginning of. Young Draven (8) was patiently posing for me on this long exposure (4 seconds). This young kid has already a fantastic eye for composition. Numerous times he has seen something from his perspective and with his imagination that it is only a matter of time he will come up with his own vision and surprise us all. Meanwhile he is happy to carry my tripod and press the button on my cable release. / Any sponsors out there?
