The mists of my life flow before my eyes / The rock of time beneath my feet…...........
I wrote a short series of poems in 1995 based on my reactions to several beautiful pieces of art …this is one of them …
My vessel lay in broken pieces… / Lord how did this come to be…? / Somehow in my daily wanderings… / Lord I’ve lost my way to Thee. / I…
There has been a time in my life some years ago that I looked away from my Lord and I found myself desolate…but He was always there…waiting for me with ultimate love and compassion…and just as He cradled me in forgiveness and renewed my spirit within me…He’ll do the same for you…you only need to give your emptiness to Him! :O)
They say life is a journey of chosen paths … If I could my paths would be mostly in our gorgeous Australian bush!
They say life is a journey of chosen paths … If I could my paths would be mostly in our gorgeous Australian bush! Wanna come for a stroll with me and smell the fresh eucalypt filled air and be serenaded by the whip and bell of the Lyre bird and dance to the orchestra of our amazing bush! Inspired again by a fellow bubbler’s fine photography! / Please view Ian Moses piece The bush track
I’ll bide near ma hame hearth and play with my son / And whistle my wanderings wi’ you my love
Another of my RB art inspired poetry. / This came to me seeing our good friend Joak’s wonderful photo of glorious majestic mountains! / I “heard” it in a Scottish accent but could not write it with one so with help from my other good friend Jen Whyte it has been transposed into the Scottish sounding text so you can ken what I heard :O) / [NB: for all you wooses I have pasted the English version in also :O) ] / Enjoy! :O)
The screaming in my heart and mind / The scream of silence / For this land is not my own / And her spirits are strangers to me

I watch, / cars filled with souls / pass on the bridge, / reflecting in water below.
When someone is gone forever, sometimes the loss can leave us vegabonds.
I have long suspected that you were different…your penchant toward butterflies, your love of nature, your appreciation of the beautiful…
A synopsis of the larger work, a mini novella that I hope to publish and illustrate before I perish. One of two that have so far been completed.

In truth I prefer the shoes.

It would be too much to simply say / I loved and lost / And loved again / It would be more appropriate to say I wandered

*This is the house of the Unknown Identity.. / Unspoken Lethanies, / Trivial musings on past days. / Unworthy reflection about “memoirs”... ...
What is moving our perception….? / One is speaking out and it does not concur with what it happens really. / Can you create an image out of what you are reading? / Or can your read from what your eyes can see? / Can you tell me…..or can you silence me? / In any way…. / I will stay …. / HERE, / Unknown.
Far, far away / where the skies are / magical misted grey / in a lonely place / where the wind / whistles it’s own sweet tune
Thank you to Alison from the ART & STORIES MADE FOR CHILDREN group for inspiring me to write this wee poem for their new poetry challenge. My Muse…who else but the titled four legged wonder lol!! I think if you discover the magical quality of horses at a tender age, that love never dies. Hopefully the words embue the cheeky spirit of these wee horses and the enchantment we feel as children on first meeting these wonderful creatures. And here he is…The Little Wild Wanderer! / Available as cards, prints & posters. /
Wait, watch and witness the awakening / As he settles not for pain

This is something I wrote and then forgot about, but then found it again and altered it a little. But I’m not sure whether I like it… do you?
As I sit here out of the light / All alone, on my own tonight / As I sit here I feel somewhat sombre / With nothing else to do my mind begin…
