On a certain river bank / Where my love loves walking / I cannot but be frank: / The photographer went stalking. And there from behind a wall / I saw my love appear: / He was so fine, so slim, so tall / As he approached the pier. He stopped, looked at the time, / My heart cried “I am here, / My dear, darling, love sublime…” / Till I saw her draw near. She paused. They smiled. I froze. I thought the contrast was a little harsh on the original version of this work, so I’ve softened the colour by adjusting the balance, and I’ve also added photographic filters.
