I took this picture near the beach where I took my waterscapes «Fog and fire»«liquid diamonds»«fire and ice »«land of fire»while going on the other part of the camp at the other beach.It was very foggy as you can see and the scene was realy magic .The same morning I took« Mirage» and «HEADLAND» but those where taken at the other part of the lake.That’s why I have so many picture with fog.Every time fog is there I ‘m out and very early of course ,it’s so quiet and magic .Walking in the woods is a real passion …but that you already know….inspired from the movie /

Featured in The Compact Group 2 per day & UK National Parks Deep in the old wood on Claife Heights by Windermere in the Lake District National Park. I love it here.It’s a really moody place. / If you come from Bowness on Windermere across the Lake on the passenger ferry, there is a lovely lakeside path heading north along the west side of the Lake. Then you follow a bridleway up onto Claife Heights with superb views of Windermere and the fells ( but only once you are through the forest).Some of the viewpoints are quite secluded despite the nearness of a population centre full of tourists. / There are then a series of footpaths which drop down to some lovely Lakeland Villages and you can even visit Hilltop, Beatrix Potter’s old home which is just as she left it. You can either catch a bus back to the ferry or extend your walk along different forest and field tracks with changing scenery. Don’t forget your picnic. / Samsung S730, set for cloudy, no flash, multi metering, auto ISO ,super fine.

A good snowfall reduces noise and cleans the ground of debris left by mankind. For this walk, I borrowed my husband’s 18-70mm 3.5-4.5G ED DX lens, used my monopod as a trekking pole and headed out with the dogs. Even they were quiet among the trees. Such peace.
