  • This shots got a lot of different meanings for me. I see it as waking from yourself, as if lifting from your body-escaping.And also this spirit that can never lie to rest. hope you like this shot, took me ages to wait till the light outside was right :-)

  • Hope is a waking dream … is a quote by Aristotle by I really like this poem too. Hope Hope is the thing with feathers / That perches in the soul, / And sings the tune—without the words, / And never stops at all, And sweetest in the gale is heard; / And sore must be the storm / That could abash the little bird / That kept so many warm. I’ve heard it in the chillest land, / And on the strangest sea; / Yet, never, in extremity, / It asked a crumb of me. by Emily Dickinson I Fractal created in Apophysis.

  • Fog ,my passion,I ‘ve done so many shots of foggy mornings. This one I kept for a while because I knew I would need to warm up my cold winter days. That morning I remember looking for a long time the fog rising up as the sun woke up,that’s the expression of my grandchildren. The sun doen’t rise he wakes up .. :)) so cute..That seagull made my day.I choose the tittle because of the book «Jonathan the seagull» /

  • Wake Up Call / Available as a framed print, poster and card. / Mixed Media In the millions of years of the history of the earth there have been hundreds of pole reversals. / These changes trigger drastic climate changes resulting in drought, flooding, earthquakes with deadly results for for the inhabitants of this planet. • The dirty lord of the manor surveys his filthy domain. Too many nights raising hell worked a little all too well. Constructed a monument to denial and excess, sunk so low, crawled so far back there’s nowhere left to regress. If these walls could talk, they would tell a horror story; Never-ending winter, violence and infidelity. Shadows fall through broken panes. Careless words that are filled with hate. Just enough to keep it together, never enough to make it work. Follow the path of least expectance. I don’t hate you, I’m just removing an enemy. Remorse is for the dead, my enemy. Remorse is for the dead.

  • I dream too much… Digital mixed media / Copyright © LiorG 2008 This work was featured in the groups Parallel Dimensions, C.O.R.E and Solo Exhibition. Technical note: What you see is a combination of 3 photos, first of the clouds, second of the land (in fact a gray office carpet, captured with shallow depth of field), and third of a running girl (cut out carefully from a stock image). I layered all 3 in PSP X2, added shadow to the girl, balanced saturation and brightness and merged everything together. Add Lior Goldenberg to your watchlist

  • In life as well as fishing it’s all about the journey! / As the sunrise burned through the fog early Sunday morning, on Clear Lake near Hunstville, Ontario, two fishermen enthusiastically set out for their favourite fishing spot… / This shot was as a result of an early morning walk in / August 2008 in the fog: part planning, part serendipity. • Model – Meluxine These are some outtake/alternates from the same shoot as Apple Blossom Girl – I actually took LOTS of shots from that set and am having strife picking the final shots to use, and since I treat RB as an alt/outtake spot as well as a preview/never before seen/standard portfolio, I figured what the hell ;) This particular pair were shot on my late Grandfather’s Ensign Selfix 820 on god knows what film, Fuji NPS 160 I thiiiiink… or possibly Portra 400NC. I had no idea what to expect, having never put film through the damn thing before, so the fact they worked and looked delightfully dreamy was very cool. These are scanned from the 120 neg, straight off the camera – no editing aside from putting them next to each other and whacking my watermark on them. Woohoo. • take your truth and bury it so it grows tomorrow / there’s a space thats filling with words like i miss you / now I continue to fall and rise but with passion and pain / and your dragging the pity into the distant sun to return oh and you returned somehow I’m just watching you change direction / and all those words are so infectious / you’re just losing those weights / they try to disguise what they really are there’s a thought that conspires with your past / but you don’t wallow in empty rooms these days / and you’re not confused by the presence of pure words / holding on became an empire of unsent letters oh you returned somehow I’m just watching you change direction / and all those words are so infectious / you’re just losing those weights / they try to disguise what they really are -me shot taken Derwent River, Hobart /

  • My Website SP The Gift She swims through consciousness, dimly aware of the morning light / as the day filters through the blur of her half opened eyelids / Resting her forearm across her brow / she stares up at the blue ceiling above her bed / until the foggy mist from her dream filled sleep finally starts to clear / Her mind awakens like a well oiled clock / cogs turning slowly at first / then with a little fine micromechanical early morning tuning / her pendulum begins to sway rhythmically in time with the day / Thoughts of things to come and yesterday are again set in motion Appointments filter through / and then there’s the parcel she needs to send / Must wrap it up in brown paper, tied with string / remembering to slip in the handwritten note she promised him / penned in scrolls and Indian ink / Rolling on her side, curling her knees up to her chest / she stares unseeing at the wall / She’ll spray his surprise with her favourite perfume / reminding him of her scent / and smiling, she visualises him opening her carefully prepared gift She see’s him untie the string / even hears the paper crackling as he lifts back the folds / slowly reaching in to finger the fabric / she watches in her mind as he lifts lace from soft, white tissue paper / and his utter surprise that she has fulfilled her promise / Smiling to herself she closes her eyes / snuggling deliciously deeper under the covers / wrapping her arms around her knees / while savouring the misty sweet daydream / Tender thoughts of love, hope and desire all tied up in string TMac

  • This beautiful lady is a pencil, ink and chalk pastel on a piece of watercolor/pastel paper. I have been working on her for a couple of months. I wanted to have her finished by my birthday this last Sunday, April 19th… so Saturday I called her FINISHED. I was experimenting on this piece with different layering techniques that I have used on a few of the other pieces that got uploaded here before her. This was so involved that I don’t know how many that I will do like this. But I am happy with her. She represents all of the women of the world who are now just ‘waking up’.
