On that sunny morning, Richard realized the biggest dreams are only as far away as the strength of his believes in them. United with his magic board and blessed with a fortunate combination of circumstances, he flew rings around gravity, without even breaking a sweat. For those concerned, no surfer has been hurt during the taking of this image. At all times, through the leash and his board, he was safely connected to Mother Earth.
This old cottage is around 80 to 100 years old, not much is known of the history of the place other than, in the early days a Maori family lived there and then moved on, unsure where they moved onto, Glenhazard Farm bought the property the house occupied and then a few farm managers lived there. about 25 years ago Flemings the porridge cereal company did a TV add at the old house, the house then was surounded by wheat. Now the house is used for a hay-shed, but is slowly falling down.

An old, empty lone church stands waiting for it’s congregation, but this is no ordinary church…it is situated in Martinborough – heart of the wine industry in the Wairarapa. It has been shifted here and I suspect will soon be surrounded by vines and filled with a different type of worshipper rainging their chalice! /
