Nikon D200, 17-55mm nikkor lens, polarizer, tripod This shot was very difficult to get, I had to climb down a VERY muddy hill and then crash through thick undergrowth to get to the river, once I was at the river the spray from the waterfall was so thick I was having to huddle under an umbrella to try and keep my camera as dry as I could. As soon as I took the lens cap off the lens was covered in spray so I ended up trying to compose the photo with the cap on (point the camera in the general direction and hope for the best, manual focus, manually set the shutter speed and aperture and zoom to about what I thought should do the job) then take the lens cap off just as I hit the shutter button. Results not too bad I think.
