  • This is another shot from Zebedee Springs at El Questro in the Kimberley. The thermal springs are just lovely, both for the scenery and for a warm dip! To sit and soak in these warm springs is a treat indeed and a welcome break from the red dust of the Kimberley.

  • Another in the Australian idol quotes series

  • This another shot from Cable Beach. I couldn’t decide whether I liked this better with the more vivid colour or the shot of the whole train. Can you help?

  • Just when he thought it was safe…blammm the water accidentally came on

  • Perth, Western Australia on A calm summers night. Canon EOS 40D. Featured In: Canon DSLR, Capital cities of the World. Perth, The Fine Art of Photography, WA Red Bubbles Mk II, Western Australia.

  • Sitting here.. heart ready to explode… remembering what was….

  • One of Perth’s most photographed waterscape. The best photographs tend to be those unplanned moments that don’t come along all to often, when mother nature and timing cross paths. As Ansell Adam said: ””A good photograph is knowing where to stand”” but I think it is also knowing…when. I think I was extremely luck to catch this moment, as I have seen hundreds of photos of this place, but I think I have captured the amazing symmetry that the nature hides most of the time.

  • Mother Nature, best artist in the world.

  • It is an unwritten law amongst surfer that for everyone to enjoy natures playground, they must follow some simple ethical rules: / 1. Furtherest out / 2. Closest to the peak / 3. First on feet / 4. Call (Left or Right) / 5. Don’t drop in / 6. Don’t snake on the wave / 7. Paddle wide, using the rip / 8. If caught inside – stay in white water / 9. Do not throw board in danger of others / 10. Respect the beach and ocean and others / 11. Give respect to gain respect! Surfrider Foundation Tribal Law

  • Home Sweet Home. The Blue Boathouse, Mounts Bay Road, Perth. Western Australia. I’ve finally dragged my lazy feet to the Blue Boathouse down at Mounts Bay Road, Perth. Despite being a 20 minute drive by the freeway, I never seem to allocate the right time to visit this magnificient icon. It’s possibly one of the most photographed building in Western Australia, and I cannot object it anyway if it was. edits: Realigned, adjusted contrast/brightness. • Sunset over the Coorong National Park South Australia. The remains of an old stock fence stand out now with the extremely low tides created by a lack of water to the bottom end of the mighty River Murray. Human impact slowly being devoured by nature…. Best viewed large…
