Photoshop CS3 / photo manipulation… Creativity, in the broadest sense of the word, is the answer to the myriad of problems in our lives. It clears a direct path to the soul and to our true freedom. If we hold strong and stay on that course, we will find a bounty of treasure – we will be rich beyond all measure!

This is a collage that I made a few days ago. I am also an artist that paints glass vases, candle holders and light switch plates (www.switchart.org.) I took out a lot of vases and held them up to the light and photographed different parts of them through the sun and then I used Arcsoft Photostudio 5.5 which is like photoshop and merged all of them together using circles, squares, rectangles and ovals with different layers. I then went into my picture folders and chose pictures that I had photographed over the years and reduced them to very small sizes. The rest is history! By the way, I also stole Obama’s “Yes I can” because I just think it has really inspired so many people. I hope we are not both in hot water now. (Smile) Peace!
Well the vote was a 3 way tie and all of the Dancing with the Stars entries were voted to go onto the Dancing to the Oldies contest. / Here we find that my Buffalo Drum, Bamboo flute and Dance Rattle are providing the music for this Dancing to the Oldies, and on the left is the Amber Owl dancer and in the center is the Eagle Dancer and on the right is the Amber Bear dancer, dancing to the oldies of the Celestial Ancestors, want to join them…...........
I just couldn’t let this one slip by. / The Republicans are doing such a good job sabotaging themselves, that I’m beginning to wonder if they’re tired of all this shit too. Maybe they finally decided that the economy was bad enough that even they know we need a Democrat in office to clean up after their mess. Feel free to use this photo anywhere you want. /
This is a slight departure for me, working in a more impressionistic style. The source of the work was a photograph of my mother and uncle taken in the late 1930’s or early 1940’s. / MCN: CC612-C2F57-D5C23
My dear friend Lucindawind wrote an amazing plea today abot the plight of US Wild Horses, and the proposed euthanizing of thousands of these amazing creatures. / This creation is in response to her plea, in support, as I have been writing, fighting and crying over this issue for years… / Here’s some more info about the attempts to Save the Wild Horses / SpiritRidersFoundation a Native American Organization Sheryl Crow music /
I was given this litte poem from a friend when I had my double mastectomies 8/14/2004. I thought it appropriate to show with the lovely flower blooming from my garden and put next to my peaceful water fountain in my living room. Mainly not for whom wrote the statement Lady Bird Johnson a democrat which I am not, but to remind all that our election is a very few weeks away and that life is precious so please stop and smell a rose or two. Think of how God has blessed each and every one of you. Yes, we all have had and are most I know experiencing some of the greatest turmoils in our lifes right now. We deifinately DO NOT NEED, CHANGE for the wrong reasons! We need to look for hope in the future and experience of long term committment that has been shown, the fresh faced approach of a young family who is commited to helping our country with all the “reality tv” it can slam at their faces in a 24 hour day and still put a smile on. We have to step back and think what a team we have that can deal with that kind of pressure and not fall to that. So, let’s all move forward for the right reasons, get on your knees and pray we know that there is hope for this country for all who serve and are serving now. Let’s not forget to vote and leave all their hard efforts in dismay!
